Preferred Purchasing/Vendor Status

ICMCA and its volunteer advocacy team approach the purchasing teams of government departments, major companies and not-for-profits in Alberta to promote the designation.

Through these efforts we may get the CMC designation to be treated as follows:

1. A preferred status for supplier contracts and/or Request for Proposal processes; or
2. CMC’s get added points for their capability/expertise in bidding situations; or
3. Owners, Boards, Senior managers seek out CMC’s when they realize they need assistance with their organizational challenges.
