Certified Management Consultants provides no-charge professional services to a leading support services network.
Ottawa, Ontario – The CMC Canada Pro Bono Program has completed a no-charge management consulting engagement for the Slay Society in partnership with Management Advisory Service (MAS) of Toronto. The CMC Pro Bono program sources management consultants for pro bono help, while MAS is a well-known resource for charities seeking free consulting services. Their collaboration boosts the support available to organizations like The Slay Society.
Ottawa-based Certified Management Consultants Stephen Fanjoy and Richard Monk volunteered their professional services to assist Slay Society as a second mandate. The project was performed under the CMC® Pro Bono Program which provides free management consulting to registered charities in need.
Mr. Fanjoy and Mr. Monk met with stakeholders to provide guidance on establishing a governance framework that meets the business demands of the Board of Directors, including the senior management team. They presented a range of thought leadership to support the governance process.
This newly drafted governance model, along with the strategic plan, will serve as the guideline for Slay Society to establish its tactical operating plans and objectives for the upcoming year.
