Management consulting is an independent, professional advisory service assisting managers and organizations to achieve organizational purposes and objectives by solving management and business problems, identifying and seizing new opportunities, enhancing learning, and implementing changes.
While most businesses and consulting firms do not require their management consultants to have a CMC Designation, the industry is rapidly changing in the light of public questioning of the ethics of consultants. Not only will the CMC show employers and clients that you are an experienced and knowledgeable consultant, but it will give you a competitive advantage as the CMCs become increasingly preferable to work with.
The Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation is the only credential that regulates management consultants worldwide. It is recognized in over 50 countries. The CMC Designation represents a commitment to the highest standards of consulting and adherence to the ethical practice in the profession.
