CMC Pro Bono Program helps the Ethiopian Association strengthen its strategic planning initiatives

Ottawa, Ontario – The CMC Canada Pro Bono Program has completed a no-charge management consulting engagement for The Ethiopian Association in partnership with Toronto's Management Advisory Service (MAS).

The CMC Canada Pro Bono Program sources management consultants for pro bono help, while MAS is a well-known resource for charities seeking free consulting services. Their collaboration boosts the support available to organizations like The Ethiopian Association.

Adelwyn Holder, a Certified Management Consultant based in Toronto, volunteered his expertise to assist the Association in developing a Logic Model and Theory of Change. He met with the Executive Director, Board Members, and key stakeholders to review and discuss the Association’s strategic focus, resources, programs, and challenges.

In collaboration with the leadership team, Mr. Holder designed and delivered a Logic Model and Theory of Change that will enhance the Association's ability to communicate its purpose and intended impact to potential funding agencies, businesses, partners, and volunteers in various communities throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

"We are grateful to the CMC Canada Pro Bono Program and MAS for their generous support and commitment to our mission. The expertise provided by Mr. Adelwyn Holder has been invaluable in refining our strategic direction and enhancing our governance model. This collaboration not only strengthens our organizational capacity but also empowers us to better serve our community. Partnerships like this remind us of the importance of collective effort in driving meaningful change." Selah Getahun Executive Director of the EAGTA SR
